Dear Pete,
After taking this studio shot, here's the feedback I received from one satisfied client:
"I had asked Jonathon to take some photographs of these new products. I knew the sort of theme I wanted, but didn't want to be too prescriptive.
"So I pitched up at the studio, laden down with jars, baskets, flowers, white chocolate, shea butter, honey... you name it! The studio smelled gorgeous, but I really had no idea what the end result would be. I suppose in my mind I was thinking of something quite minimal and uncluttered.
"Fortunately Jonathon was so switched on to what was needed. His questions about how the photograph would be used, the brand values and the meaning of the props I'd brought, meant he had a full grasp of the potential. Then he got to work, setting the backdrop, trimming and chopping, "coiffing" the flowers and arranging the vanilla pods until they were perfect.
"He created the lighting to give a feel of a country kitchen, basking in the warmth of the summer sun. You can almost hear the ducks quacking in the mill-pond outside.
"Jonathon's skill was evident in how he simply captured the essence of the products and the end result was a photograph I would never have dreamt of, and I'm so delighted."
